Based on our experience we have selected three areas which in our opinion offer the best climbing in Italy! There are many other amazing places of course, but these three offer spectacular views, great rock quality and variety and great local culture and food! Here are the top 3 climbing destinations in Italy by 6bpump!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Dolomiti<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, emerge as an unrivalled choice for a rock climbing expedition. Number one for climbing destinations in Italy. This mountain range in northern Italy boasts a surreal landscape of towering limestone peaks, vertical spires, and challenging rock faces. They are also known as “The Pale Mountains.” The intricate network of well-maintained routes combines adrenaline-pumping challenges with awe-inspiring panoramas, making every ascent a visual and physical feast. In addition, the number of peaks and routes is endless. A great choice for multipitch climbing the Dolomites also offer endless possibilities for crag climbers. In particular, be prepared for alpine climbing style if you are interested in the “classic” routes.
