They are easily accessible from the Sella Pass, which is  a beautiful high mountain pass that connects Val di Fassa and Val Gardena. The road itself is worth a visit! The scenery as you drive the windy road is stunning. The towers are well known by climbers as they offer climbing for everyone, and they are often the setting for climbing schools taking climbers on their first ascents.  In addition, the short approach also makes them a great choice for a fantastic day of alpine climbing. The First Tower is the furthest south and closest to the road. In fact you can reach them  in approximately 20 minutes from the Sella Pass. Specifically there are more than 15 routes that reach its summit. But one of the most famous ones is Spigolo Steger. It follows the western ridge of the tower and the grade is IV+.  Incredibly, this route was first climbed in 1928! It is a classic alpine route, meaning there are not many bolts along the line, but there are fixed anchors.
