The Cliffs of Capo Caccia are perfect if you’re looking for easy multipitch lines in Sardegna. Limestone walls fall in the blue sea not far from the city of Alghero.
The bolts on many of these lines are old, even if they don’t look that bad they cannot be trusted, as has been reported many times by local climbers. The climbing area is not closed but please be careful when using bolts and anchors. The best option is to follow the lines but to place your own gear. The cliffs are perfect for beginners who want to try trad climbing in a safe environment.

Powaqqatsi rock climbing

The line is officially 6 pitches, with max grade 4c.
We climbed the route in 4 pitches linking the shorter ones.
The climb can be harder or easier if you move to the left and right of the bolted line.
The climb starts from a few meters above sea level and to reach the start you have to repel from the top of the cliff. You will find many anchors at the top but it is safer to place slings and ropes with carabiners to build your own anchors, which you can then retrieve on the way up.
